7 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, California,by
8 vote of two-thirds or more of all its members, RESOLVES THAT:
9 it It finds and determines and hereby declares that the
10 ii public interest and necessity require :
11 ! The acquisition, construction and completion by the

12 County of Contra Costa, of a public improvement; and in con-
it
it
13 ; nection therewith and necessary therefor, the acquisition of
14 fee simple title to real property, and other interest( s) in
15 ii real property as described in Appendix(m) attached hereto;
it
16 Said proposed public improvement is planned and located
17 ii in the manner which will be most compatible with the greatest
18 ': public good, and the least private injury;

This Board shall acquire in the name of the County of
20 ': Contra Costa, the said real property and interest( s) therein
21 flby donation, purchase, or by condemnation in accordance with
it

it
22 ?i the provisions for eminent domain in the Code of Civil
it
it
23 :: Procedure;
it
24 The District Attorney of this County is hereby
25 iiauthorized and empowered:
it
26 ? To acquire in the County' s name, by condemnation, the
27 ;jtitles, easements and rights of way hereinafter described in
28 ;; and to the said real property or interest( s) therein in
29 Naccordance with the provisions for eminent domain in the Code
30 ::[ of Civil Procedure and the Constitution of California,

1 To prepare and prosecute in the County' s name such
2 proceedings in the proper court as are necessary for such
3 acquisition, and
4 To apply to said court for an order fixing the amount
5 and nature of such security as it may direct, and to deposit
6 such security as so directed, and for an order permitting the
7 County to take immediate possession and use of said real
8 property or interest( s) therein for said public uses and
9 purposes;
10 The said real property and interest( s) in real
11 property are more particularly described in Appendix A
12 attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof to
13 the same extent as if herein fully set forth in words and
14 figures .
15 PASSED AND ADOPTED on April 21, 1964 by the following vote

All that certain real property in the City of Pleasant
Hill, County of Contra Costa, State of California, described
as follows:
Portion of Lots 39 and 40, as shown on the map of Grace-
land Walnut Home Sites, filed January 11, 1929, in book 21 of
Maps, pages 581 and 582, in the office of the County Recorder
of Contra Costa County, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of property described
in the deed from Charles B. Beatie, et ux, to R. J. Gasser
and Katherine J. Gasser, his wife, as joint tenants, recorded
November 26, 1940, in book 574 of Official Records, page 261,
being a point on the north line of a County Road; thence from
said point of beginning along the north line of said County
Road, North 890 15' 30 ' East, 64 feet to a point; thence North
000 031 East, 264.8 feet to the north line of said Gasser
parcel; thence along said north line South 890 15' 30" West,
611- feet, more or less, to the west line of said Gasser parcel;
thence along said west line, South 000 05' 30" East, 261E.8
feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM: That portion thereof described in
the deed to Contra Costa County, recorded September 28, 1955,
in book 2619 of Official Records, page 144.
