HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10172007 - CHECKME (86) IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Petition } for the Incorporation of } RESOLUTION NO. 2929 the City of Pacheco . } RESOLUTION ADOPTED FIXING TIME AND PLACE FOR FILING PROTESTS AND FOR A CONTINUED HEARING ON THE PROPOSED INCORPORATION OF PACHECO . The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa resolves: THAT Tuesday, April 14, 1964, pursuant to Resolution No. 2850, the Board held a hearing of a petition praying that certain territory described in the petition be incorporated as a general law city to have and bear the corporate name of the City of Pacheco, and the following persons appeared: Mr. David Levy, on behalf of the Pacheco Town Council, who asked that the Board approve incorporation of Pacheco; Mr. Gordon Turner, Attorney, who presented protest and request for exclusion, signed by Pacheco Land Company; Mr. Lee Walton, representing the City of Pleasant Hill, who explained the position of that City insofar as the White Front property is concerned, which property is under consideration for annexation to the City of Pleasant Hill; THAT not later than Friday, April 24, 1964, at 5 p.m. , in the office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Hall of Records, Main and Court Streets, Martinez, Contra Costa County, California, may protests to and requests for exclusion from Incorporation of Pacheco be filed with the Board; and RESOLUTION NO. 2929 2 THAT Tuesday, May .5, 1964, at 10 a.m. of said day in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, Hall of Records, Main and Court Streets, Martinez, Contra Costa County, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for continued hearing of said petition for incorporation of the City of Pacheco. PASSED AND ADOPTED on April 14, 19640 by the following vote of the Board: AYES: Supervisors James P. Kenny, Mel F. Nielsen, Thomas John Coll, Joseph S. Silva, Edmund A. Linscheid. NOES: None.
