HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01012005 - 2005-716 RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF RESOLUTION NO. 2005/716 NAMING THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY COURTHOUSE THE "HONORABLE WAKEFIELD TAYLOR COURT BUILDING" WHEREAS, the Honorable Wakefield Taylor, Retired Presiding Justice of the California 1st District Court of Appeal, died April 6, 2005, at the age of 93 years old; and WHEREAS, Justice Taylor and his wife Carmel have been residents of Martinez since 1939, where they raised four children, all of whom attended and graduated from Martinez public schools; and; WHEREAS, Justice Taylor maintained a private law practice with the late Congressman John F.
