HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10042004 - 71-866 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS O CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Award of Contract for Demolition of ) County Buildings on County } RESOLUTION NO. 71/866 Property located at 1010 Pine Street & 1015 Court Street ,, Martinez. ) 3 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On November 23, 1971, this Beard passed and adopted Resolution No. 71/790, determining that the property described in the Notice to Bidders attached thereto was no longer needed for County purposes and authorized the County Right of Way Agent to receive proposals for its demolition and removal from County-owned real property. The Notice to Bidders was posted as required by lair,, in accordance with said Resolution, No. 71/790, the following bids were received and opened pursuant to the said Notice to Bidders : Bidder Bid Amount 1. Kenney Henley Demolition and $ 1,426.00 Excavating, Inc. 2. Knapp Excavators, Inc. 13,590.00 3.. Randall LeFl ore & Sans 4. Bay Cities Demolition, Inc. 2,425. 00 The lowest responsible bid received is accepted, and the contract is hereby awarded to Kenney Henley Demolition and Excavating, Inc. , in the amount of $1,426.00. The County >Right of Way ;Agent is hereby authorized to return the bid guarantees to the unsuccessful bidders . Further, the Chairman of the Board: is authorized to execute an appropriate demolition contract with the successful' bidder. PASSED AND 'ADOPTED on December 14, 1971, by this Board.
