RESOLUTION ADDING AN EXTENDED SERVICE TO COUNTY SERVICE
AREA NO. L-44 ' AND CHANCING;'THE NAME OF SAID COUNTY
SERIrTCE AREA. TO COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. M-16
The Board of SuDervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT :
On Tuesday, December 14 , 1971, pursuant to Resolution No. 71/723 ,
this Board held a public hearing on the proposed addition of
recreation and nark services to County Service Area. No. L-44 4 and on
the proposed change of name of said County Service Area to County
Service Area No. M-16. The boundaries of said territory are set
forth in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by reference incorpor-
ated herein. Notice of said hearing was duly given in the manner
required by law. This Board, at the time and place set for said
hearing, called for evidence or pretests , and heard and duly
considered such evidence and Drotests .
This Board hereby orders that recreation and park services
be added to County Service Area No. L-44 pursua:nt to the provisions
of GovernmentCode Section 25210.35, and that except where funds
are otherwise available from service charges collected pursuant
to Government Code Section 25210 .77a, a tax sufficient to pay for
such additional extended service will be levied annually upon all
the taxable property within said territory .
This Board hereby also orders that the name of said County
Service Area be changed to County Service Area No. M -16 .
