IN THE, BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY,, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of RESOLUTION, NO, 71/843A the Formation of � County Service Area No. R-7 ) (Gov.C. §§252 .0. 21, 25210. 22) Danville-Alamo Area } ) RESOLUTION SUSPENDING RESOLUTION NO. 7 .,/632WHICH' APPROVED 'FORMATION OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA R-7, ALAMO- DANVILLE AREA, AND CALLING FOR AN ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE QUESTION OF WHETHER SAID RESOLUTION NO. 711632' SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE VOTERS The Board of Supervisors of Contra Crista County RESOLVE'S THAT: On Tuesday, September 28 , 1971, this Beard passed and adopted Resolution ' No. 71/632 approving the formation of County Service Area R-7, Alamo-Danville Area, for the purposes of providing extended recreation and park services in the said area,. On November 19, 1971, which was within 60 days after the adoption of said Resolution No. 711632, this Board was presented with a petition signed by at least 10 percent of the registered voters residing within the county service area protesting against the adoption of the resolution establishing the county service area. This Board hereby suspends said Resolution No. 71/632 and declares that said resolution shall be submitted' to the voters of the area in an election to be held on April 11, 1972. Resolution No. 71/632 shall have no further effect unless and until a majority of votes cast at said election are cast in favor* thereof. PASSED AND ADOPTED on December 7 , 1971, by this Board. RESOLVES "IMIAT : NOTICE IS HEREBY >GIVEN that an election grill be held in proposed; County Service Area No. R-7 on Tuesday, April 11, 1972 , as to whether County Service Area No. R-7 should be established to provide recreation and park services in the Alamo-.Danville area. The territory of proposed CountyService ' Area No. R-7 is described in Exhibit "All attached hereto and by reference incorporated. herein. The proposition to be voted on shall be stated in sub- stantially the following terms : "Shall Resolution No. 71/632 adopted on September 28, 1971, by the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County establishing County Service Area rR-7 to provide recreation and park services in the Alamo- Danville ,area be approved?"
