Out-dated Warrants }
(Govt .C. §29802)
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
County warrants generally become void if not presented to the
County Treasurer within six months after the date of issuance, but
they may be replaced as authorized by law, when out-dated, lost or
destroyed; so ,
Pursuant to Government Code §29802, the Board hereby authorizes
the County Auditor to draw neer warrants without prior individual
order of this Board, when such void (out--dated) warrants (car
affidavits declaring; the loss or destruction thereof) are pre-
sented to him within two years from the date on which the original
warrant became void, but
This authority extends through October 31 , 2972 only , ,unless
renewed by this Board after submission on or about, October l to
the County Counsel for his review as to legal authority and proce-
dures . This authority is subject to compliance with the provisions
of Government Code Secs. 29802 and 29850 ff.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on November 23, 1971.
