Adopted this Resolution on October 28, 1997 by the following vote:

RESOLUTION NO.: 97/
SUBJECT: Approval of the Final Map for Subdivision 7903, Richmond area.
Subdivision 7903 is being developed by Community Housing Development Corporation North
Richmond in conjunction with the Contra Costa.County Redevelopment Agency. In keeping with the County's
goal to provide low-income housing for its residents,this subdivision,will be constructed in six phases.
In lieu of the usual subdivision agreements and bonds,the County is accepting six temporary Grant
Deeds of Development Rights with the approval of the Final Map. At such time as the individual phases begin
to develop,the developer will be required to substitute a subdivision agreement and bond for the appropriate
Grant Deed of Development Rights. This arrangement will minimize the bonding costs of such a large
subdivision and still satisfy County development conditions.
The City of Richmond has accepted an agreement with the developer to assure the completion of
conditioned improvements to Gertrude Avenue, between Richmond Parkway and Ruby Avenue.
The following document was presented for Board approval this date:
The Final Map of Subdivision 7903, property located in the Richmond area, said map having been
certified by the proper officials;
Said document was accompanied by a letter from the County Tax Collector stating that there are no
unpaid County taxes heretofore levied on the property included in said map and that 1997/98 tax lien has been
paid in full.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said subdivision,together with the provisions for its
design and improvement, is DETERMINED to be consistent with the County's general and specific plans;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Final Map is APPROVED and this Board does not accept
or reject on behalf of the public any of the streets, paths, or easements shown thereon as dedicated to public
use.
