IN THE MATTER OF HONORING ] RESOLUTION NO. ()7/12
SHAUN LUMACHI AS THE 1997 ]
HERCULES YOUTH OF THE YEAR ]
OF THE YEAR ]
WHEREAS, Shaun Lumachi has been a resident of the city of Hercules for many years; and
WHEREAS, Shaun Lumachi attended Pinole Valley High School and was very involved in
student activities such as Conflict Management, School Site Council Secretary, Principals Advisory
Committee,Junior and Senior Class Representative, Literary Magazine Staff Editor, and the Senior
Co-Chairman for the Senior Awards. He graduated from Pinole Valley High School in 1996; and
WHEREAS, Shaun Lumachi has participated in many community events including: the Pinole
Youth Commission, the Pinole-Hercules Little League Umpires Association Chief Softball Umpire,
the current President of the Franklin Canyon Association of Junior Golfers, a Hercules Rotary
Volunteer and the City of Hercules Recreation Volunteer; and
WHEREAS, Shaun Lumachi for all of his dedication to the community is being recognized as the
1997 Hercules Youth of the Year; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa
County does hereby honor and commend

for his contributions to the city of Hercules .
