SUBJECT: Exchange of Surplus Real Property
with John Darrel Perez
Sandy Cove Lane Slide Repair

Bay Point Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property by Grant Deed recorded on
August 23, 1996, and located at 267 Sandy Cove Lane in Bay Point. This parcel was
required for the repair of "Hill 310" Land Creep. A portion of the property acquired,
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer
required for present or future County use, and that the exchange of real property with John
Darrel Perez for property adjacent to County property is of equal value.
. This Board hereby APPROVES the exchange of real property between Contra
Costa County and John Darrel Perez and hereby ACCEPTS the Quitclaim Deed dated
October 1, 1996 from John Darrel Perez and DIRECTS the Real Property Division to
cause its delivery to the County Recorder for recording.
The Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed to John
Darrel Perez on behalf of the County, and DIRECTS the Real Property Division to cause
its delivery to the County Recorder for recording.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on October 15, 1996, at least a four-fifth vote of the
Board.
