HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10151996 - 96-448 �3 In the (BoardofSupervisors of Contra Costa County In the Matter &SOfution No. 96/448 R�cognizing the Participants in the Cafforni i l4ding and7fiking Trail WorkProject in Concord U&Mg,9S, the 1§creation and open Space Volunteer Trail Day was held on Sunday, Way S, 1996; UMMgAS, this volunteer event was sponsored 6y the East Bay regional (Tark(District's Volunteer Trail Waintenance Program, the City of Concord, the City of Walnut Creep and the Friends of Concord Parks, U�'JftE1 AS, dozens of volunteers came together and donned workgloves and sunscreen to develop access and trail connections to Lime Ridge Open Space in the City of Concord; UMEU,7S, a large number of the volunteers were young people from the Concord Teen Center, `GWIEU_7S, this is an outstanding example of dedicated citizens partnering with government to enhance recreationalopportunitiesforthe entire community.
