SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on January 16, 1996 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Rogers, Bishop, DeSaulnier, Torlakson, Smith NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 96/12 SUBJECT: Amending Pipeline Franchise with Shell Oil Company The Board of Supervisors on September 15, 1964, passed and adopted Resolution #3352 granting Shell Oil Company a franchise to place eight pipelines in County roadways. One of these pipelines identified as the Bay Area Products line consisted of 30,278 linear feet. On December 22, 1994, Shell Oil Company sold 28,012 linear feet of its Bay Area Products line to Central Contra Costa Sanitary District. This section of the line parallels Taylor Boulevard between the cities of Pleasant Hill and Lafayette. Shell Oil Company has requested that its pipeline franchise granted under Ordinance#3352 be amended to delete this footage. The Board of Supervisors resolves that the aforementioned franchise be amended to delete 28,012 linear feet from the pipeline identified as Bay Area Products effective December 22, 1994, and that Shell Oil Company is not obligated to pay the franchise fees for the deleted footage subsequent to this effective date. 1 hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of supervisors on the dat shown.
