SUBJECT: Property Exchange
Livorna Heights Road
Project No. 0662-6U4320
Alamo Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
A portion of the land acquired for the Livorna Heights Road realignment project,
as described in Exhibit"A"attached hereto, is excess and no longer necessary for County
or other public purposes.
A portion of the land owned by the Wald Family Trust, as described in Exhibit "B"
attached hereto, is required by the County to relocate the Wald's access to Livorna
Heights Road in the area described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
The Board hereby APPROVES the exchange of all the County's right, title, and
interest in and to said excess land pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and
the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed to the Leonard and
Florence Wald Trust for the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. The
County Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be delivered to the
grantee together with a copy of this Resolution.
The Grant Deed from Leonard O. and Florence E. Wald, Trustees, the Wald Family
Trust, dated December 20, 1993, for the land described in Exhibit "B" is hereby
ACCEPTED and the County Real Property Division is DIRECTED to have said deed
recorded in the Office of the County Recorder.
This activity is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to
Section 15061(b)(2) of Chapter 3 of CEQA Guidelines. It can be seen with certainty that
there is no possibility that the activity may have a significant effect on the environment.
This Board DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of
Exemption with the County Clerk, and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for
payment of the $25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk. The Planning Commission
having considered their general plan, FINDS pursuant to Government Code Section
65402 in accordance with its Resolution No. 81/522; this exchange is minor in nature and
therefore exempt from general plan conformance.

December 12, 1968 in Book 6 of Parcel Maps at page 27, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Parcel "A" (6 PM 27); thence from the Point of Beginning,
along the north line of said Parcel "A", north 88028'53" west 110.00 feet, to the east right of way line
of Livorna Heights Road; thence along said east line, leaving said north line, south 2031'0T' west
20.00 feet;thence leaving said east line, south 88°28'53"east 85.00 feet; thence south 37°41'11"east
