SUBJECT: Conveyance of Real Property Rheem Creek
Project No. W/O L84A
San Pablo Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
The County is the owner of certain real property in the San Pablo area acquired
for Rheem Creek as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for flood control and
drainage purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer
necessary for County or other public purposes and its estimated value does not exceed
$10,000.00.
The County and American Standard, Inc., entered into a Joint Use Agreement on
September 30, 1992 providing for the conveyance of said property in conjunction with a
hazardous material remediation project being undertaken by American Standard, Inc.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said
property to American Standard, Inc., pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and
the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the
County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause the Quitclaim to be delivered
to the grantee.

The following described real property in the City of San Pablo, County of Contra Costa,
State of California:
The area designated "Area Dedicated to Contra Costa County for Drainage Purposes" as
shown on the Parcel Map of Subdivision MS 778-82 recorded on September 17, 1982 in
the Office of the Recorder of Contra Costa County in Book 102 of Parcel Maps at Page
46. Said property was conveyed to the County of Contra Costa by deed recorded on
October 19, 1982, in Book 10975 of Official Records at Page 732.
RESERVING THEREFROM a perpetual, exclusive easement and right-of-way for the
purposes of laying down, constructing, reconstructing, removing, replacing, repairing,
maintaining, operating and using, as the Grantor may see fit, for flood control purposes
and transmission of drainage water, a pipe or pipelines, culverts or ditches, and all
necessary braces, connections,fastenings,fences or other protective barriers or facilities,
and other appliances and fixtures for use in connection therewith or appurtenant thereto,
in, under, along, and across the entire property conveyed herein.

For a valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of California,
Does hereby remise, release and forever quitclaim to AMERICAN STANDARD, INC.,
a Delaware Corporation,
the following described real property in the City of San Pablo, County of Contra Costa,
State of California:
