Adopted this Order of October 1, 1991, by the following vote:

RESOLUTION NO. 91/644
SUBJECT: Approving Plans and Specifications
for Completion of Third Floor Courtrooms
at A. F. Bray Courts Building, 1020 Ward Street,
Martinez, for Superior Court (CP #84-116 )
Budget Line Item No. 0122-4109
Authorization No. 0925-WH109D
WHEREAS Plans and Specifications for Completion of Third Floor
Courtrooms at A.F. Bray Courts Building, 1020 Ward Street,
Martinez, for Superior Court have been filed with the Board this
day by the Director of General Services; and
WHEREAS Plans and Specifications were prepared by Lawrence
Emery, Archit�ct; and
WHEREAS the Consultant ' s cost estimate for the initial
construction contract is $841 , 000 .00; and
WHEREAS the Board has obtained the general prevailing rates of
wages, which shall be the minimum rates paid on this project; and
WHEREAS the Board finds that parking requirements set forth in
findings . adopted by the Board on April 8, 1986 , when the
Environmental IImpact Report for the A.F. Bray Building was
approved, have been satisfied due to relocation of staff from the
Civic Center to other areas, construction of new parking, increased
use of alternate work schedules , and a lower rate of growth than
anticipated;
IT IS BY THE BOARD RESOLVED that said Plans and Specifications
are hereby APPROVED. Bids for this work will be received on
October 31, 1991 at 2 : 00 p.m. , and the Clerk of this Board is
directed to ublish a Notice to Contractors in accordance with
Section 20125 of the Public Contract Code, inviting bids for said
work, said Notice to be published in the Concord Transcript. - --
