The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On October 20, 1987, this Board passed a resolution of
intention to vacate the County Street described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference and
fixed November 10, 1987 at 9:00 a.m. , in its Chambers, as • the
time and place for the hearing thereon, and ordered that the
resolution be published and posted as required by law, which •was
done as shown on affidavits on file with this Board.
The hearing was held at that time and place, this Board hearing
and duly considering all evidence offered concerning the vacation
by all interested parties.
This Board hereby determines pursuant to Streets and Highways
Code Section 2381 that the vacation area is not useful as a
nonmotorized transportation facility.
This Board hereby FINDS that the public road is unnecessary for
present or prospective public use.
This Board hereby FINDS that there is no substantial evidence
that the proposed vacation will have a significant effect on the
environment, and that it has reviewed and considered the Initial
Study and Negative Declaration together with any comments
received during the public review process (all on file with it) ,
and this Board approves its adequacy for. California Environmental
Quality Act purposes. The Public Works Director is ORDERED to
file a Notice of Determination with the County Clerk. The
Planning Commission having filed its general plan report
concerning this proposed vacation and this Board having
considered the general plan, FINDS pursuant to Government Code
Section 65402 that it has received the Planning Commission's
report.
RESOLUTION NO. 87/ 675
This Board declares that the hereinabove described proposed
vaction area is HEREBY ORDERED VACATED subject to any reservation
and exception described in attached Exhibit "A". From and after
the date this Resolution is recorded, the portion vacated no
longer constitues a public highway,
The Real Property Division is ORDERED to record a certified
copy of this Resolution in the office of the County Recorder.

Real property in the State of California, County of Contra Costa,
unirncorporated, described as follows:
All that real property being a portion of that parcel of land described in
the deed from Fred and Helen Lowe to Contra Costa County recorded June 17,
1975 in Book 7539 of Official- Records at page 773, Contra Costa Carty,
California, more particularly described as follows:
Carmoerncirng at a point, said point being the fond iron pipe tagged IS 3936
located at the southeast corner of.Iot 4 as shown an the map of Subdivision
6559 recorded August 14, 1986 in Book 305 of Maps at page 8; thence westerly
along the boundary of Subdivision 6559 (305 M 8) south 800 28' 33" wrest,
1855.38 feet; thence along the easterly boundary of Subdivision 6559 (305 M
8) south 070 39' 20" west, 904.09 feet to a point, said point being the
northwesterly corner of the parcel of land described in the deed to the
State of California recorded in Book 7237 of Official Records at page 73,
Contra Costa County, California; thence along the northerly line of said
State of California parcels (7237 OR 73) north 490 09' 53" east, 18.11 feet
and south 820 20' 40" east, 30.00 feet to a point, said point being on the
westerly boundary of the parcel of land owned by Lloyd and Mildred Riggs,
recorded in Book 10598 of Official Records at page 22, Contra Costa Camay,
California, said point also being the true Point of Beginning; thence, from
said Point of Begirnirnr;, westerly along said State of California parcel
(7237 OR 73) noYth 82 20' 40" west; 22.26 feet to a point on a curve
concave to the east having a radius of 871.00 feet which center point bears
north 830 41' 23" east; thence northerly along said curve through a central
angle of 070 14' 1311 'an arc distance of 110.01 feet to a point, said point
bears north 890 04"2411 west from the center point of said curve, said point
being on the easterly boundary of said Subdivision 6559 (305 M 8) ; thence
along said easterly boundary north 070 39' 20" east, 56.63 feet to a point,
said point being the southwest corner of Parcel luo, as described in the deed
frac David H. Humphrey and Marjorie G. RzQhrey to NSI Construction Company
recorded in Book 10765 of Official Records at page 313, Contra Costa County,
California; thence north 800 25' 06" east, 43.98 feet to a point, said point
being the northwest corner of said Riggs.pareel (10598 OR 22) ; thence along
the westerly boundary of said Riggs parcel south 070 39' 20" west, 177.81
feet to the Tnue Point of Beginning.
RESERVIM THEREFR M: Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8340 of the
Streets and Highways Code, the easement and right at any time, or from time
to time, to contract, enlarge, maintain, operate, replace, remove, and
renew those existing and in place utilities, as of the- date of recording
this instnment, in, upon, over and across any highway or part thereof
proposed to be abandoned, including access to protect the property from all
hazards in, upon, and over the area herein before described to be abandoned.
