In the matter of Honoring )
Kenneth Hahn on Forty Years )
of Public Service ) RESOLUTION NO. 87/ 604
WHEREAS Kenneth Hahn, member, Board of Supervisors, Los
Angeles County, is celebrating forty years of public service to
the Los Angeles community; and
WHEREAS Mr. Hahn' s public service career includes five years
as a member of the Los Angeles City County and thirty-five years
as a member of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS the citizens of not only Los Angeles County but the
entire State of California have benefitted from the efforts of
Supervisor Hahn to improve public service and to initiate public
benefit programs; and
WHEREAS Mr. Hahn has been an active member of the County
Supervisors Association of California and through that
organization has devoted significant effort to development and
implementation of public safety, programs such as paramedic
service and freeway emergency call boxes; and
WHEREAS Mr. Hahn has unselfishly servedthe public for forty
years and has set a fine example of local government leadership
which should be followed by public officials throughout the
State;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Contra Costa hereby EXPRESSES sincere
appreciation to Supervisor Kenneth Hahn for his long and faithful
commitment to the betterment of local government programs and
services and wishes him well in his continued efforts on behalf
of the public he serves.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on October 6, 1987 , by unanimous vote of
the Board of Supervisors. Supervisors.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct
copy of an order entered on the minutes of said Board of
Supervisors on the date aforesaid.
