and State Highway Matching Funds for )
Fiscal Year 1984/85 )
WHEREAS, on October 17, 1984, the State Highway Engineer forwarded official
notice of amounts due Contra Costa County under the Federal Aid Highway Acts, in
accordance with the provisions of Section 2208 and 2210 of the Streets and
Highways Code, as follows:
Federal Aid Secondary Funds: $246,780
State Highway Fund Money for Matching: $100,000
WHEREAS, Section 2211 of the Streets and Highways Code requires the County
within 60 days of receiving such notice to notify the State Highway Engineers as
to what amount of the apportionment the County wishes to claim and to agree to
provide any County matching funds as may be necessary after first considering the
sum made available under Streets and Highways Code Section 2210;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the County of Contra Costa
. does hereby notify the State Highway Engineer that the County of Contra Costa
claims the said apportionment and the whole thereof, and that the County of
Contra Costa does hereby agree to provide any County matching funds required as
may be necessary after first considering the Stan made available under Streets and
Highways Code Section 2210.
