RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to repurchase from the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water
Conservation District for the County Corporation yard site, an undivided 1/3 interest
in the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for $750,000.00 plus 10
percent per annum simple interest from June 11, 1984, to the date of recording the
Deed, as opposed to interest from April 10, 1984, to recording, as provided in the
purchase agreement between the County of Contra Costa and the Flood Control District,
approved on April 10, 1984, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of
said agreement is on file in the Public Works Department.
This Board will meet on December 4, 1984 at 2:30 p.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and
the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice in the Martinez
News-Gazette pursuant to Government Code Section 6063.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County declares its intention to purchase
from Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, at a price of
$750,000.00 plus 10 percent per annum simple interest, from June 11, 1984, to the date
of recording the Deed, a 1/3 interest in the Blum Road Corporation yard site located
at Blum Road and Imhoff Drive, Martinez, California and more particularly described in
Resolution No. 84/ 648 of the Board and will meet at 2:30 p.m. on December 4, 1984
in its Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California,
to consummate the purchase.
