HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 10181983 - 83-1103 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on October 18, 1983 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson, Schroder. NOES: None. ABSENT: Supervisor Powers. ABSTAIN: None. SUBJECT: Approval of the Final Map, ) RESOLUTION NO. 83/1103 Subdivision Agreement, and ) Road Improvement Agreement ) for Subdivision 6345 ) Walnut Creek Area. ) The following documents were presented for Board approval this date: The Final Map of Subdivision 6345, property located in the Walnut Creek area, said map having been certified by the proper officials; A Subdivision Agreement with Desco Investment, Inc. , subdivider, whereby said subdivider agrees to complete all improvements as required in said Subdivision Agreement within one year from the date of said agreement; A Road Improvement Agreement with Desco Investment, Inc., subdivider, whereby said subdivider agrees to complete all improvements as required in said Road Improvement Agreement within one year from the date of said agreement; Said documents were accompanied by: I. Security to guarantee the completion of road and drainaqe improvements under the Subdivision Agreement as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: A. Cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 71062, dated October 14, 1983) in the amount of $1 ,000 made by Desco Investment, Inc. B. Additional security in the form of a corporate surety bond dated October 18, 1983, and issued by United Pacific Insurance Company (Bond No. U 31 71 98) with Desco Investment, Inc.. as principal, in the amount of $39,000 for faithful performance and $20,000 for labor and materials. II. Security to guarantee the completion of road and drainage improvements under the Road Improvement Agreement as required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, as follows: A. Cash deposit (Auditor' s Deposit Permit No. 71062, dated October 14, 1983) in the amount of $1 ,000 made by Desco Investment, Inc. B. Additional security in. the form of a corporate surety bond dated October 18, 1983, and issued by United Pacific Insurance Company (Bond No. U 31 71 97) with Desco Investment, Inc. as principal, in the amount of $11,000 for faithful performance and $6,000 for labor and materials. III. Letter from the County Tax Collector stating that there are no unpaid County taxes heretofore levied on the property included in said map and that the 1982-83 tax lien has been paid in full and the 1983-84 tax lien, which became a lien on the first day of March, 1983, is estimated to be $22,000; . IV. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Subdivision Agreement is also APPROVED.
